RIP Steve Job

Steve Jobs was co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple. He created computers, laptops, iPhones, and iPods. Steve Jobs was a  very creative man and a very important person in this world. In 2003, Jobs was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer and he went under a liver transplant in 2009. Jobs knew he was going to die so he resigned as CEO of Apple and continued to work. At the age of 56, Jobs died in his home on October 5, 2011. He died of respiratory arrest also with a tumor. Jobs died with his family by his side, he had passed out the day before. Apple announced his death on the website by writing a message stating how sad they are that he died.

Jobs has really changed the world. Mostly everybody owns a apple computer, laptop, iPhone or a iPod. Without Steve, things wouldn't be the same in the world.

The social network , twitter, showed a lot of love for steve jobs. " RIP Steve Jobs" was a trending topic for quite a while. People also were talking about the next iPhone and would there be one. The iPhone 5 will be coming out without Steve Jobs. He will be very missed. Rest in peace.

Plan B pill

On the news they have been talking about trying to get the "plan B" pill over the counter. The Plan B pill is to be taking by the woman that think they are pregnant after 72 hours of having sex. It prevents the egg from fertilizing. They officially made passed the bill saying that the plan B pill will be sold at stores without a prescription for people 17 and older.

I think that its bad that they put it out like that because teenagers thats younger than 17 could just steal the pill from the store. I also think that some teenagers just have unprotected sex and don't care because if they feel pregnant they could take the pill without information. If they go to the doctors and get a prescription, the doctor will tell them more about STD's and transmitted diseases, so they will more likely to use condoms and not depend on the plan B pill or birth control.

I think they should change the law back, i think it's really dangerous to teenagers and anybody that is having sex. They should go to the doctors and get more information about diseases and about getting pregnant. If they depend on the pill they could be too late to take the plan B pill and end up getting pregnant.

NBA lockout, finally over

On July 1st, the 2011 NBA lockout began. The lockout means that the next season of basketball is postponed for another time. During the lockout, teams cannot trade, sign or contact players and players can't access NBA team facilities, trainers or staffs. During the lockout, it affected the players a lot of money,  The cancellation of each month of the season cost the players around $350 million in lost pay. Some players decided to fly over seas and go to teams in Asia or Europe, and some decided to just stay here and wait until the lockout is over. The lockout lasted 149 days, leaving fans really angry. The lockout ended November 26th 2011. Fans were so  happy and excited that the lockout was over. The first game will be on December 25th 2011. I am also a fan of basketball and i was so relieved that the lockout was over. A lot of people were excited, they showed a lot of the excitement on twitter. "NBA" was a trending topic for about 2 days straight.

take care - drake new album.

On November 15th 2011 Drake released his second album, "Take Care". The three singles on Take Care so far are "Headlines", "The Motto", and "Make Me Proud". The album leaked nine days before the release date. In the first week Drake sold 631,000 copies of his album. Drake called the album Take Care because he had enough time to write and record this album , because he rushed for his 1st album "Thank Me Later", he said  "I didn’t get to take the time that I wanted to on that record. I rushed a lot of the songs and sonically I didn’t get to sit with the record and say, 'I should change this verse.' "Once it was done, it was done. That’s why my new album is called Take Care because I get to take my time this go-round."

The album has 18 songs that he mainly recorded in his birth town, Toronto, Canada. On Take Care, Drake made collaberations with Stevie WonderKendrick LamarChantal KreviazukAndrĂ© 3000Rick RossLil WayneNicki Minaj, and Rihanna

I listen to the album and i fell in love with it. Take Care is a very good album, not only is every beat fantastic every lyric is also terrific. The way that he raps and sings all flows together. I think that Drake is one of the best artists out right now, he is doing a very good job and he will soon be a Hip Hop Legend.

The 4th movie of twilight , breaking dawn part 1, just hit theaters November 18th. Twilight made over 30 million on the opening night. Twilight Breaking dawn is the fourth and final novel of the Twilight Saga. The Twilight saga was written by Stephenie Meyer. Twilight Saga contains four books, the fourth book got split into two movies because it was too long.

I watched the movie on opening night and i loved it. I am quite a fan of the twilight movies. All the drama racing between a love triangle and a never ending fight between vampire and wolves just excites me. It really is entertaining. The whole time at the movies, i couldnt even blink my eye to miss a second of the movie. It is very heart racing and suspenseful.

A lot of teenagers watch this movie. Some cant wait to for the movie to come out and just reads the book. i think its good for teenagers to read something they like, it gets their brain going.

This Series is also getting a lot of money. People buy the books and watch the movie after just for a more vivid point of view. I really like the series and hopefully they could continue the series and not stop at the fourth book. Maybe they could be the next harry potter.
